ECHOES OF CELEBRATION

“The Festival of Ecological Theater for Children and Youth” will celebrate its 28th Festival, which will take place from 18th to 22nd August in Bačka Palanka. 

“This year our Festival is about MOVEMENT. The topic of movement is trying to remind us of the importance of acceptance of others and different people and cultures. Movement is a journey, change, understanding, and welcoming of those who seek refuge. Movement is not just OUR journey. It’s the way our planet breathes in the midst of an ecological crisis and climate change. After two years of sitting in quarantine caused by the Covid crisis, it is time to move forward, to create a movement that will heal the world”

Echoes of celebration is a musical journey through the memories of the past. Some of them are joyful, some of them can hurt us, but they all blend into a beautiful construct that makes us who we are. This theatrical concert wants to cherish that. Travelling between songs from all over the world, poems and dances, the performers of Ikarus Stage Arts celebrate life and its ambivalent nature.
